Yep, she was an exhibition shooter, and this is not a take on her actual story. I wanted to have fun with the idea that someone so talented could've done anything with herself. :)

Painted in Photoshop.

you say you missed a few things in the description so this suggestion may be one of the things you missed, but you could add some caustic reflections of the glass onto the table would be pretty sweet effect
but really the image is great!

I can't wait to see more.

Nice. :) One thing I was confused at was that the clothes she's wearing look a bit modern so it was giving me anachronistic double-vision. I dunno, maybe it isn't modern, and it just doesn't fit with my very uninformed idea of that period's clothing... ^^;

Either way it's a beautiful painting. I really love her eyes.
