This piece is suppose to represent myself as an artist. I use traditonal and digital mediums which explains the wings. As an artist and person, I struggled so much to break free. I've finally learned to fly, and that allowed me to break out of the iron cocoon which nourished me until I was ready. Even though she's muscular, its just enough to be strong, but not too strong. Her wings are both sharp and soft. Every artist, has no doubt, been through changes in their lives. Artists are blessed with the ability to interpret everything they are delt with, the artist's life through the art, the art is the artist. I am earning my wings one feather at a time...

The metallic wings added to the traditional ones in Iron Cocoon by ~kamillyonsiya add a nice touch to an already awesome painting. It's not often I see an angel done in this manner and it was a pleasure to find and share. ( Featured by `Aeires )

I so love your comment on the picture!! yesterday i was watching a cartoon where they talked about the same thing: an artist expresses ideas and toughts trough pictures, thus names them accordingly. Thank you....you are my inspiration today
